- Take responsibility to establish an effective and professional Process Engineering Department to support the head of Operations to achieve company goals such as Quality, Cost, Efficiency, Safety and Security.
- Be responsible for establishing and improving the organization structure, working systems of engineering department.
- Better coordinate the working relationship between the engineering department and other departments to driving lean manufacturing concept to consist with World Class Manufacturing system.
- Ensure the project transfer target achievements in terms of equipment efficiency, quality, lead time, investments etc. to reach the maximum internal customer satisfaction.
- Pursue production processes continues improvement and operations cost reduction.
- Better communicating /aligning with headquarter technical expertise to deploy further in line process improvements.
- Lead the activities for in line process and quality control; Organize and solve the major technical problems on time during production.
- Organize a technical support team to centralize the preparation and amendment of the technical information, product standards, process and practices.
- Ensure processes standardization, promote innovation activities.
- Manage, monitor, and control all cost and schedules of the assigned projects.
- Weekly and monthly performance report to management.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or above, of chemical related major, prefer chemical engineer background.
Experience:
- 8-10 years work experience in chemical related site, longer experience preferred.
- Profound conscious of quality control, product management and financial cost.
- Be very familiar with such engineering tools like SPC, DOE, PFMEA, SOP.
- Be very familiar with quality system requirements & standards, Quality Assurance Control Plan, QC 7 tools, ISO9001 and ISO14000.
- Rich experience in product transfer, new product line setup and high volume production.
- High level of data analysis and problem solving skills.
- Willing to follow company guidelines and maintain confidentiality, honesty, and integrity in all business dealings.
- Good training capability, high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent project management experience, strong leadership and organization skills.
- Fluent written and spoken in English.
- Emerson Delta V system preferred.
- Competence in MS Office Tools and MS Project.
